I have been fascinated by the hotel industry ever since I was a child. I found it to be a line of work based on being nice, simply. As I joined the Bachelor in Hospitality Management course in Taylor’s, I discovered the challenges this field throws at the hotel staff and I faced these hardships head-to-head when I did my internship at Le Méridien and the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. The long hours of work were no easy task for me but the innumerable conversations, smiles and signs of appreciation I received definitely made up for it.
